As the world marvels at the Artemis Mission in preparation for a future trip to Mars, we take you on a trip to the "Field of Mars" in this week's President's Podcast.

"Field of Mars" is the translation for the Latin "Campus Martius" which is the First Settlement of the Northwest Territory. What we call today the Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, Ohio. As part of our America-250 coverage we take you on a tour of the museum that still surrounds the original home of General Rufus Putnam, the man many consider the Father of Ohio, who was charged by President Washington with leading the Ohio Company to establish what is now Marietta.

Join us for a very special inside look at the history that still lives inside this museum.

We encourage you to take your family for a tour and then look around historic downtown Marietta for more places to explore including The Castle, The Mound Cemetery where many soldiers from the Revolutionary War are buried near the remarkable Native American Conus Mound, and take a ride on the Valley Gem Sternwheeler to truly step back in time.

The President's Podcast is streamed on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart, and Amazon Podcasts.
