Select Committee on Housing Holds Hearings Around the State

If you’ve been looking to buy a house you’ve seen some of the challenges in Ohio’s housing market from a very personal level.

Those challenges range from limited homes for sale, condition, and the climbing cost of home ownership.

If you’re renting, you’ve probably seen many of the same issues.

Housing problems do differ from the metropolitan areas to small towns.

That’s why the Ohio Senate’s Select Committee on Housing has been holding hearings around Ohio to hear first-hand from those communities.

This week the Committee held a 5 hour hearing in Lima, where the need for housing grows daily with the job market.
