Senator Terry Johnson is a retired physician, served as a senior flight surgeon and Colonel with the Army National Guard, and is a proud patriot from Scioto County in Southern Ohio.
He isn’t shy about protecting the homeland from the damage done by fentanyl trafficking to the potential for a terror attack on our critical infrastructure and military bases here at home.
Recently the Senate unanimously passed two of his bills.
Senate Bill 7 requires public schools to teach substance abuse education from kindergarten through the 12th grade. It's a much needed upgrade to lesson plans for a state that just legalized marijuana.
Additionally, the Upper Chamber passed Senate Bill 138 that prescribes significant reforms to how mental health and recovery centers are regulated, with an emphasis on results.
