If you thought the Cold War collapsed with the fall of communism in the 80's, you'd be surprised that a new Cold War has smuggled its way back into your ballot box, crossing not only the U.S. border, but multiple state borders, including Ohio.

Last week's stunning campaign finance filing by what we like to call, "Political Outcomes Over People," was replete with progressive out-of-state dark money. But at the very foundation of this progressive redistricting power grab, was a $6 million contribution from the foreign funded, Sixteen Thirty Fund.

The fund, was founded by Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss. He has given nearly a quarter billion dollars to the fund. Make no mistake, he is not an citizen of the United States and has no plans to become a U.S. citizen. He's been on the record as wanting to reshape our policies and system of government, not only at the federal level, but at the state level.

It is illegal for candidates to accept foreign contributions, but it is legal for organizations to accept foreign funds to finance their ballot campaigns and attacks on our state constitution. It's interesting that Democrats in the General Asembly floated the narrative that these contributions were already illegal.

Their gerrymandered word salad was pure fiction, and the legacy media was complicit. But now we know why. They had $25 million reasons why, 85% of which came from out-of-state, Washington, D.C.-driven, progressive, dark money groups. This is why Eric Holder's lawyer, Marc Elias, immediatley filed a lawsuit in federal court to block Ohio's new law that outlawed foreign contributions to ballot campaigns.

They knew it was illegal. They knew Ohio would prosecute. They knew what they were saying was false. In fact, the very same day, Governor DeWine called for the special legislative session, the Sixteen Thirty Fund contributed $6 million to this fall's progressive left redistricting campaign. They might as well be taking millions from China, North Korea and any other country that is an enemy of the United States.

Senator Rob McColley who sponsored the original legislation outlawing foreign contributions to ballot initiatives in Ohio ripped into their stunning campaign report and their effort to undermine the voice and freedoms of Ohioans by selling out their state to foreign billionaires on last week's President's Podcast.

The Executive Director of Americans For Public Trust , Caitlin Sutherland, testifed before the Ohio Senate's General Government Committee in February. She was so right. The Sixteen Thirty Fund was on the attack, and would be the main bankroll for this radical redistricting initiative. Caitlin Sutherland is our guest this week on the President's Podcast. You'll be shocked to hear how far our foreign enemies have crept into American politics with contributions at the state level.
