Reineke: Funding Still Available for Local Bars and Restaurants Recovering from the Pandemic

COLUMBUS—State Senator Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) today reminded eligible businesses that the deadline to apply for the Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund is January 31st.
"I strongly encourage our local bars and restaurants to take advantage of this opportunity and share with those in our community who may be in need," said Reineke.
Under this program, eligible on-premise liquor permit holders may apply to receive a $2,500 assistance payment. These grant payments are non-competitive, meaning any eligible business that applies will receive a payment, and businesses are not required to repay the grant funding. The program is available to not only bars and restaurants, but also movie theaters, bowling alleys, and other businesses with the appropriate permits.
