COLUMBUS-The Ohio Senate has passed a bill sponsored by Senators Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) and Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) to designate the fourth day of October as "Rutherford B. Hayes Day," by a unanimous vote of 32-0. Hayes was the nineteenth president of the United States and one of seven presidents born in Ohio.

COLUMBUS-The Ohio Senate passed House Bill 308, which classifies nuclear energy as green energy to encourage more energy generation. The legislation has the support of State Senator Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin), who serves as Chair of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) announced multiple communities in the region will receive funding for community development projects. Five counties and municipalities will receive $688,250 for this work.
