COLUMBUS—Senator Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) announces state investments for projects in Sandusky County and Seneca County.

"I am very proud to see the Department of Development invest in Northwest Ohio," said Senator Reineke. "Investments in our region are key toward keeping Ohio competitive. These investments will create nearly 200 new jobs and add over $9 million to local economies."

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed and granted tax credits to twelve projects across Ohio, two of which are in the 26th Senate District. These projects are:

  • Engineered Plastic Components (EPC) – Columbia, Inc. expects to create 150 full-time positions, generating more than $6.5 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s new location in Fremont. Engineered Plastic Components manufactures plastic products for various industries including Tier 1 automotive and plastic bed products for the medical industry. TCA approved a 1.272 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
  • Church & Dwight Co. Inc. expects to create 40 full-time-equivalent positions, generating $3 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s expansion in Old Fort. Church & Dwight develops, manufactures, and markets a range of household, personal care, and specialty products. TCA approved a 1.304 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
