Casey Weinstein Biography
Casey Weinstein has the honor of serving as the state Senator for Ohio’s 28th Senate district. He was first elected to the state legislature in 2018 and served three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives, where he championed veterans, education, and renewable energy initiatives during his time in office.
Casey currently serves as the Ranking Member of both the Senate Armed Services, Veterans Affairs, & Public Safety Committee, and Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee. He was appointed by Governor DeWine in 2020 to serve on the state’s Holocaust and Genocide Memorial Education Commission.
Prior to his election to the Ohio House, Casey proudly served as a Hudson City Councilman from 2016–2019. Casey is a 2004 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served on Active Duty as Deputy Chief of Information Assurance at the Space & Missile Systems Center in Los Angeles, and as Officer in Charge of Maintenance Support at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Casey received an MBA from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business in 2007. In Dayton, he was recognized as a 'Top 40 Under 40' Community Leader and has more recently been recognized as one of '30 for the Future' by the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce.
Casey is also a Director for ServiceNow, Inc., an information technology firm, where he manages a team responsible for business development, sales, and account management activities for the Department of Defense, including the US Air Force and US Space Force. Casey is married to his Air Force Academy classmate, Amanda, who is an Economics Professor at The University of Akron. They have two young daughters and a son, Nora, Emilia, and Brady.
