Smith Announces $100.5M Investment in Cuyahoga County Projects
Today, state Senator Kent Smith (D-Euclid) commended the Ohio Senate’s passage of the state’s capital budget (House Bill 2), which includes $7.5 million for 22 projects within Ohio’s 21st Senate District and over $100.5 million for Cuyahoga County as a whole.
“As one of the two democratic senators from Cuyahoga County, there were many projects and organizations worthy of state support within my home county. I was proud to advocate for all of them and am very happy for the dozens that received funding,” said Smith. “The investment of over $100 million will strengthen Cuyahoga County's world-renowned assets, increase our shared quality of life, and be an economic catalyst.”
