Smith Shares Concerns About Conditions at Beachwood Senior Living Center

Today, state Senator Kent Smith (D-Euclid) sent a letter to leadership at King David Healthcare Center in Beachwood expressing concerns following reports of “horrific” residential and employee conditions.

“The concerns raised by staff representatives, and residents and families alike, are alarming to me,” wrote Smith. “I believe that the residents and employees of King David and any healthcare facility like it deserve better than the unfortunate conditions that I have heard about. I have forwarded this information to the Ohio Department of Health, and I hope that the leadership of King David can address these concerns as well as provide an explanation to all the concerned parties about the steps they are taking to correct them.”
