Blessing Announces Facilities Funding Approval for Southwest Local Schools

COLUMBUS—Senator Louis W. Blessing, III (R-Colerain Township) today announced the Ohio Controlling Board approved Classroom Facilities Assistance Program funds for Southwest Local School District. The state is contributing $1,256,876 to the project at Crosby Elementary School to address growing enrollment.

"I'm delighted the Controlling Board has approved these critical funds for Crosby Elementary," Blessing said. "Our schools are thrilled to have more students, which is a sign our community is thriving. This project will ensure our next generation is well-equipped to receive excellent educations."

The project will include a small addition at Crosby Elementary School that was completed under their first segment. Future segments will be required to complete the master plan for the school as it anticipates continued growth.
