Blessing Statement on the Legacy of Senator Schuring

COLUMBUS— State Senator Louis W. Blessing, III (R-Colerain Township) has issued the following statement on the legacy of Senator Kirk Schuring:

"Ohio lost a great man and a great legislator today. In a world where politicians are maligned, Senator Schuring did the hard things quietly and without thanks. It's impossible to calculate how many crises were avoided due to his work, and mentorship of a generation of legislators. Though Senator Schuring as an institution will be missed, I mourn the loss of a friend and colleague."
