COLUMBUS—State Senator Matt Dolan (R-Chagrin Falls) applauds the teachers and administrators of four Cuyahoga County school districts recently honored by the College Board with placement on the 7th Annual Advanced Placement District Honor Roll.

Strongsville City School, Rocky River School, North Royalton City School and Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School were among 433 districts across the United States and Canada placed on the honor roll.

"This accomplishment speaks to the level of commitment these educators have to academic excellence," said Senator Dolan. "Our advanced placement programs are preparing students of all backgrounds, and helping them to achieve higher levels of learning."

Starting in 2014, school districts have raised the number of students participating in AP courses, while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP exam scores of 3 or higher to be placed on the honor roll.
