Dolan Receives Easterseals Ray of Hope Award
COLUMBUS—The Easterseals of Ohio today presented State Senator Matt Dolan (R-Chagrin Falls) the “2021 Ray of Hope Award.”

Senator Dolan was recognized for his role as Senate Finance Chairman, funding two essential Easterseals projects through the Ohio Capital Budget last December. Easterseals-Dayton will use capital dollars to build a new West Campus Community Services Center and Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati will use funds to repair their main offices which house transitional employment for people living with disabilities, veterans and people facing economic disadvantages.

“The hours of work and advocacy of those who support and are touched by Easterseals made these projects possible,” said Dolan. “Thank you for the work being done to improve the lives of people with disabilities, their families, and veterans across Ohio.”

Easterseals works to provide essential services for people with disabilities and their families so that they have equal opportunities to live and work in their community. This mission is carried out through five affiliate locations across the state, including Easterseals of Northern Ohio which serves the people of the 24th Senate District.
