COLUMBUS—Senate President Matt Huffman (R-Lima) is pleased to announce a significant investment for 30 redevelopment projects in the 12th Senate District.
The overall statewide $37 million investment targets 825 demolition projects as part of the DeWine Administration’s Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program.
The grant program was passed by the Ohio General Assembly as part of Ohio’s current two-year budget.
“This funding is critical for Ohio’s proud communities who have watched once vibrant buildings and other properties turn vacant and grey over the years,” said President Huffman. “I’m pleased my colleagues in the Ohio Senate and I were able to secure funding for the program as part of the state’s current biennium budget.”
The program is administered by the Ohio Department of Development, and includes 7 projects in Allen County, 14 in Champaign County and 9 in Mercer County.
