Manning Announces $250,000 for Abandoned Gas Station Cleanup in North Ridgeville
COLUMBUS-State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) is pleased to announce the Controlling Board has released $250,000 to clean up an abandoned gas station on Center Ridge Road in North Ridgeville. The funds were granted through the Ohio Department of Development's Abandoned Gas Station Cleanup Grant program, administered by the ODOD, the Ohio EPA, and the Ohio Department of Commerce's Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations.

Manning's Bill to Help Veterans with Necessary Expenses Passes House, Heads to the Governor
COLUMBUS-The Ohio House unanimously passed Senate Bill 287, sponsored by Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) by a vote of 88-0. The bill would allow county veterans service commissions (VSCs) to use a county credit card to pay for temporary and necessary assistance for veterans.

Manning Announces $1.5 Billion Investment by Ford in Lorain County
COLUMBUS-State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) is applauding plans by the Ford Motor Company to invest $1.5 billion to expand operations at its Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake to assemble an all-new commercial electric vehicle. The investment will create 1,800 new hourly jobs. Manning attended the offical announcement this morning at the Avon Lake plant, along with Ford executives, representatives from JobsOhio, Governor Mike DeWine, and Lt. Governor Jon Husted.

Manning obtained $4,450,000 in funding for sixteen projects in Lorain County and $1,150,000 for five projects in Huron County.

Manning Provides Testimony on Bill to Prohibit Stalking with Electronic Tracking Devices
COLUMBUS-State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville), along with Nickie Antonio (D-Lakewood), provided sponsor testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee for a bill that would prevent a person from installing an electronic tracking device on another person's property without that other person's consent. Senate Bill 339 would close a loophole in Ohio law that has not kept up with new technology.
