Senate President Matt Huffman Salutes Allen, Auglaize, Logan and Champaign Counties Sale of Champions Winners

COLUMBUS - Senate President Matt Huffman salutes the winners of the Sale of Champions from Allen, Auglaize, Logan and Champaign Counties at the Ohio State Fair.  See the photos and read the great story from Ohio's Country Journal.

Oksana Gossard from Allen County won the top prize for her showing of the spectacular Grand Champion Market Barrow.
She also took home a record six figure bid of $100,000.

Holden LeVan from Champaign County won Grand Champion Market Beef. His stately steer brought a bid of $80,000.

Braxton Method from Auglaize County landed the top prize for his impressive Grand Champion Market Goat. 
He also brought home a new record bid of $32,000.

Maria Henderson from Logan County, secured the top spot for her Grand Champion Market Turkey. The gobbler won Maria a bid of $45,000 which was also a new record.

Beckett Winegardner won the Reserve Grand Champion Market Beef with his remarkable steer. The winning bid was $37,500.

"I'm very impressed and congratulate Oksana, Holden, Braxton, Maria and Beckett for their hard work and top showing at the Ohio State Fair," said President Huffman. "This showcases their dedication to months of early mornings, late nights and their commitment to the importance of agriculture in Ohio."
