COLUMBUS-State Senator Michele Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester), the Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Housing, is thrilled to announce the committee's first hearing on the road. The Senate committee will meet on Thursday, October 26, in Cincinnati to hear the latest ideas and innovations regarding housing.

More than fifteen organizations are expected to testify, including the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, The United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Ohio Real Estate Investors Assoc. of Cincinnati, and others.

"The goal of the Select Committee on Housing is to understand the current barriers Ohioans face to attain the American dream of homeownership," Reynolds said. "We need southwest Ohioans to make their voices heard. Their participation is essential to the impact we hope to make on the region as we address the housing crisis statewide.”

Senator Reynolds will be joined by Ranking Member Hearcel F. Craig (D-Columbus), State Senator Louis W. Blessing, III (R-Colerain Township), State Senator George Lang (R-West Chester) and State Senator Catherine D. Ingram (D-Cincinnati).

The committee is scheduled to convene:

Date: Thursday, October 26, 2023
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: United Way of Greater Cincinnati, 2400 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45202
