Reynolds Commends $1.5 Billion Data Center Investment in New Albany
COLUMBUS-State Senator Michele Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester) commends Quality Technology Services (QTS) Data Centers for its $1.5 billion investment in Central Ohio. The company recently announced it will build four data centers in New Albany.
"This move by QTS Data Centers is another economic win for Central Ohio," Reynolds said. "We are growing our presence as a data center and technological hub, which will bring more opportunities for our residents and the next generation to thrive here in the Buckeye State."
The data centers will be built on Beech Road south of State Route 161 near the Facebook, Google, and Amazon data centers. Construction is anticipated to begin in March and conclude in 2025.
This announcement comes after Amazon announced its historic $7.8 billion investment to build more data centers in the region.
