Reynolds Leads First Housing Committee Meeting
COLUMBUS—State Senator Michele Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester) today led the first hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Housing, which heard from several stakeholders in Ohio's housing arena.
"Our goal is to understand how Ohio can encourage the American dream of homeownership, which is one of the best ways to build wealth in America," Senator Reynolds said. "Today's meeting gave us a strong foundation to build upon, and I am excited to listen and learn from more Ohioans across the state to uncover the challenges they face in their communities."
Senator Reynolds was appointed to lead the Select Committee by President Matt Huffman (R-Lima). The committee intends to hold additional hearings at the Statehouse and throughout Ohio over the coming months.
