Senator Reynolds Celebrates Grove City Economic Development Project
COLUMBUS—Senator Michele Reynolds (R-Canal Winchester) is pleased to see Grove City chosen as the site for SICCET USA's first manufacturing facility in the United States.
"New economic development is the sign of a healthy and vibrant community," said Senator Reynolds. "As Ohio continues to grow, Central Ohio will continue to be a center of economic opportunity. I look forward to watching the positive effect this new facility will bring to the region."
SICCET USA, the American subsidiary of Italy's SICCET SRL, is a manufacturer and supplier of temperature sensor cables for use in modern industrial systems. The company plans to construct a 20,000-square-foot facility in Grove City and will create 15 new jobs. The operation will manufacture high-performance cables that help monitor and control temperature in demanding environments like aircraft engines, power plants, and industrial food equipment.
JobsOhio supported the $2 million investment by the Italy-based company with a $75,000 Economic Development Grant. JobsOhio Economic Development Grants promote business expansion, economic development, and job creation by providing funding for eligible projects throughout the state.
