Manning Celebrates National Endowment for the Arts Grant for Credo Music In Oberlin

COLUMBUS—State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) today celebrated funding through the National Endowment for the Arts’ (NEA) Art Works grant program for Credo Music in Oberlin, Ohio. The Slowik Music Institute, more widely known as Credo Music, will receive a $10,000 NEA grant. This year, NEA has awarded $540,000 to 28 nonprofit arts organizations throughout the state. “I am pleased that Credo Music in Oberlin has been selected to receive funds through the National Endowment for the Arts," said Manning. "Credo offers many rewarding programs for Oberlin residents and I am confident that they will use this grant to continue adding richness to our community through the arts.” Established by Congress in 1965, the National Endowment for the Arts is the independent federal agency whose funding and support gives Americans the opportunity to participate in the arts, exercise their imaginations and develop their creative capacities.
