Manning Shares Important Information About Where to Vote on Election Day
COLUMBUS– State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) today reminded Ohioans of steps being taken to ensure a safe, secure and healthy election. Voters are strongly encouraged to confirm their polling places and be aware of all the options to vote in Ohio’s primary election this coming Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

"I appreciate the Secretary of State and our county Boards of Elections for working so diligently during this time,” said Manning. “I encourage you all to be informed about the location changes so that you can exercise your right to vote on Tuesday."

Polling Location Changes Due to Coronavirus Impact
Because Ohio’s elderly population is specifically vulnerable to Coronavirus/COVID-19, polling places that were located in senior living centers are being relocated by county Boards of Elections in coordination with Ohio’s Secretary of State Frank LaRose.

For the most up to date information, Ohioans should visit www.VoteOhio.gov/CoronaFacts to confirm their polling place and read more about steps being taken to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Early and Absentee Voting Options
Ohio also offers several options to vote early or by mail.
  • If you have your absentee ballot, be sure to postmark and mail the completed ballot by Monday, March 16 or drop it off at the curbside locations at the county Boards of Elections on Tuesday, March 17. Every valid absentee ballot is counted just like a vote cast at the polling location on election day.
Poll Workers Needed
Senator Manning also joined Secretary of State Frank LaRose in calling for additional Ohioans to serve as poll workers. A majority of poll workers are senior citizens, and with concerns about the exposure of vulnerable populations to Coronavirus/COVID-19, additional people are needed to support a safe and secure election in each of our counties.
