Today, Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) announced the addition of two major economic development projects located in Senate District 23, creating 100 new jobs in the region. These investments were made possible through collaboration between the state, TeamNEO, and local partners.

“These projects reflect Ohio’s growing role in advanced manufacturing and health care innovation,” said Antonio. “The teamwork of TeamNEO and local leaders is helping Northeast Ohio thrive, and it demonstrates our commitment to creating safe and sustainable jobs for Ohio’s workers and families. This collaboration between the public and private sectors is exactly the kind of partnership that propels our state forward.”

Diversified Fall Protection, an international leader in fall protection systems, will consolidate operations from California and Utah to Westlake, creating 50 new jobs. The company’s decision to expand in Ohio will benefit both local workers and communities.

In Cleveland, Canon Healthcare will open a new research and clinical process facility in the Cleveland Innovation District, creating another 50 jobs. The partnership with the Cleveland Clinic was key in securing this investment, and it will serve as a major boost for Ohio’s health care and technology sectors.
