Antonio Delivers Democratic Response to the State of the State

Today, Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) delivered the Democratic Response to Governor DeWine’s State of the State address, where she highlighted how Senate Democrats continue to advocate for Ohioans.

“There is a lot that we and the governor agree on - we absolutely should be focusing on our kids, our economy, our workforce, and our higher education institutions. But we have much work to do if we truly want Ohio to be the ‘Heart of it All, ’” said Antonio. “Ohio Democrats continue to be staunch advocates for all Ohioans, fighting for a state that embraces freedom, opportunity, and dignity. We will continue to work toward an Ohio - and a budget - that protects, houses, educates, supports, and empowers all workers and families.”
