Antonio Statement About LaRose's New Ballot Drop Box Directive

Today, state Senator Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) issued the following statement in response to Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s decision to allow multiple absentee ballot drop boxes at county boards of elections – but only at their offices: “Ohio Democrats have been demanding additional ballot drop box locations to expand fair access to our elections, but the Secretary of State’s decision to limit these additional boxes to county boards of elections fails to meet this objective. This is a disappointing example of prioritizing political optics over meaningful change.”
