Antonio Statement on DeWine's Inauguration

Today, state Senator Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) issued the following statement in response to Governor DeWine’s inauguration:

“I’m offering my congratulations to Governor DeWine on his inauguration today. In his first term, we produced two bipartisan budgets, provided long overdue funding for our roads and infrastructure, and enacted the Fair School Funding Plan. I hope the next four years are an opportunity to continue to work together and do what’s best for Ohioans. I look forward to working together on bipartisan issues like improving our mental health system, affordable housing, improving infant and maternal health, supporting our schools, ending the death penalty, and passing the Ohio Fairness Act to make Ohio a more welcoming place where all families - including young people - want to live, work, and raise a family.”
