Senate Minority Caucus Announces New Chief of Staff
Today, Senate Minority Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) announced that Monica Moran will serve as the chief of staff for the Ohio Senate Minority Caucus beginning Monday, September 11.
“Monica will be a great addition to our Senate Democratic Caucus as a highly regarded professional who brings expertise and knowledge as a leader and dedicated public servant,” said Antonio. “She will assist us in our work to advance Ohio as a great state to live, work, and raise a family.”
Moran joins the Ohio Senate with decades of experience in public affairs, positions of leadership and communications. Most recently, she served as deputy chief of staff to Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano.
Moran will succeed previous chief of staff Mike Rowe, whose last day was Friday, September 1.
“After 14 years of service to the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus, first as communications director and then as chief of staff, Mike Rowe has departed the Ohio General Assembly,” said Antonio. “I have always appreciated his professionalism, work ethic and dedication to the members. We wish him well on his next chapter and thank him for his service to the people of Ohio.”
