COLUMBUS—State Senator Sandra O'Brien (R-Ashtabula) today issued the following statement on the vote to approve Ohio's biennial budget conference committee report:
"I was proud to join my Senate colleagues in voting yes on the State's budget this evening. This is a fiscally responsible, balanced budget that prioritizes tax cuts, economic growth, and modernizes our outdated school funding formula.
I am also pleased that one of my key priorities, the transfer of the Geneva-on-the-Lake Lodge & Conference Center from Ashtabula County to the State, was included in this budget, saving Ashtabula over a million dollars a year." For more information on the budget approved today, click here.
