State Senator Sandra O'Brien and her colleagues in the Ohio Senate approved the state's new Biennial Operating Budget maintaining the Upper Chamber's commitment of fiscal responsibility to the taxpayers.

COLUMBUS- State Senator Sandra O'Brien (R-Ashtabula) this week introduced a bill to allow Ohio students attending a non-government school to take both a special needs scholarship and an EdChoice scholarship at the same time. Currently, students who qualify for either an autism or Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) scholarship may only receive that scholarship, and they are not eligible to also receive an EdChoice scholarship.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Sandra O'Brien (R-Ashtabula) is urging her constituents to stay safe in the hazardous winter weather conditions throughout Northeast Ohio. Governor DeWine declared a state of emergency for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties to provide more state resources for storm recovery.
