O'Brien Sworn into 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS—State Senator Sandra O'Brien (R-Ashtabula) was sworn in today as a member of the Ohio Senate in the 135th General Assembly. She represents Ohio’s 32nd Senate District, which includes Ashtabula and Trumbull counties and portions of Geauga county.

"It is truly an honor to continue to represent the people of the 32nd Senate District," O'Brien said. "I am excited to continue to work with my colleagues in making Ohio the best state to live, work, and raise a family."

O'Brien resumes her first four-year term after being elected in 2020. Prior to being elected to the Senate, O’Brien served as Ashtabula County Auditor for three terms. She received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Edinboro University. She is also a former teacher at both the elementary and collegiate levels.
