Senate Passes O'Brien Bill Dedicating Bridge to Purple Heart Veterans

COLUMBUS—Today, the Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 282, sponsored by State Senator Sandra O'Brien (R-Ashtabula), which dedicates bridge number TRU 304 7.22 on State Route 304 spanning Mud Run in the City of Hubbard in Trumbull County as the “Purple Heart Veterans Memorial Bridge.” "This bill was brought to us by a resolution which was unanimously passed by the Hubbard City Council to recognize and honor all Hubbard recipients of the Purple Heart" O'Brien said. "This is just one small way we can demonstrate that our community and state cherish and remember those who put themselves in harm's way to protect our freedoms."
