Wilson Announces Funding to Renovate Lebanon National Guard Facility
COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) is pleased to announce the Ohio Controlling Board has approved $58,175 in funding to make much-needed renovations and improvements to the National Guard Armory in Lebanon.
"The Lebanon Armory was constructed in 1950 and has undergone limited renovations in that 73 year period," said Wilson. "This funding ensures that the Ohio Adjutant General can continue to recruit and retain the best and brightest guardsmen and women Ohio has to offer.”
Many of the buildings at the armory have equipment that require constant repair or replacement because they have exceeded life expectancy. The funding will provide HVAC upgrades, office and common area renovations, restroom renovations, painting, new low maintenance flooring systems, new ADA concrete ramps, new energy efficient windows, doors and lighting, switch gear and electrical generator hookup.
