Wilson Applauds Job Creation and Business Investment in Mason

COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) today applauded Vega Americas Inc.'s announcement to relocate its headquarters to the city of Mason’s Research and Development Park.
The company manufactures level and pressure measurement for the processing industry.
The new headquarters will be a $50 million investment on a 230,000-square-foot campus and include a state-of-the-art business and training center. The company will bring 217 employees to the city and create 50 new jobs over five years.
“This exciting announcement shows our region is a quickly becoming a leader in attracting global companies,” said Wilson. “The Mason R&D Park continues to provide economic growth and job creation in my district, and I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of these investments.”
Vega Americas is the third international company to invest in the Mason R&D Park in the past four months, totaling $200 million in new investment and over 500 jobs. The campus is expected to open in 2021
