COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) today applauded the Ohio Tax Credit Authority for approving an investment project in Warren County. SPS Technologies LLC in Mason, Ohio expects to create 190 full-time positions, generating $14.6 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project. SPS Technologies designs and manufactures fasteners for the aviation industry. The Tax Credit Authority approved a 2.26 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project. “Today’s announcement shows that Ohio is heading in the right direction and our policies are working to help create jobs and spur economic development," said Senator Wilson. "I look forward to seeing SPS Technologies grow their operation in Mason and employ more of the hard-working people in our district.” During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $88 million in new payroll and spur more than $295 million in investments across Ohio.
