Wilson Appointed as Chairman of Senate Energy and Public Utilities Committee
COLUMBUS—Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) this week named State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) as Chairman of the Senate Energy and Public Utilities Committee for the 133rd General Assembly.

"We owe it to the people to ensure we have an energy policy that represents the diverse options Ohio has to offer, while continuing to provide for affordable energy for consumers," said Wilson. "I thank President Obhof for putting his trust in me to lead this committee. I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue our work from last General Assembly in developing and refining a comprehensive energy strategy for our state."

An Ohio native and long-time Warren County resident, Senator Steve Wilson has built a career of dedicated service to both his community and his profession. From the time he was honorably discharged as a Naval Officer in 1975, Senator Wilson focused his efforts on a career at Lebanon Citizens National Bank (LCNB) and public service in his community.

"As a banker, I understand the importance of diversifying your investment portfolio, and it is no different for our state's energy policy," added Wilson.

Wilson was appointed as Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for a brief period in the 132nd General Assembly following the departure of former Senator Troy Balderson.
