Wilson Honors Local Hero at Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame and Fire Awards

COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) today recognized Lieutenant Joseph Arnold for his nearly 30 years of dedication and service to the Cincinnati Fire Department. At the Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame & Fire Awards, Arnold was presented with the Ohio Fire Service Instructor of the Year Award.
In this role, Arnold has trained approximately 300 new Cincinnati firefighters, bringing a high level of energy and enthusiasm to all training sessions. Recruits spend over 840 hours involved in firefighting training and an additional 300 hours of EMS training to successfully achieve the position of a Cincinnati firefighter.
The ceremony took place at the State Fire Marshal's Office in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
