Capital Budget Delivers Major Investments Across the 12th Senate District
COLUMBUS—State Senator Susan Manchester (R-Waynesfield) announced that millions of dollars have been secured for community projects throughout Ohio's 12th Senate District as part of the state's biennial Capital Budget.
The funding will support critical improvements and investments across all seven counties in the district, helping strengthen local communities, expand educational opportunities, improve public facilities, and support workforce development initiatives.
"These investments reflect the priorities of the people and communities I represent," said Senator Manchester. "From workforce training and education to community facilities and local infrastructure, this funding will help create opportunities for residents today while preparing our region for future growth."
The Capital Budget is one of the state's most important tools for investing in long-term community needs. This year's legislation includes funding for public schools, mental health and addiction services, natural resources, and local projects that improve quality of life across Ohio.

The new 12,000 square foot facility will provide dedicated space for manufacturing, construction, and agriculture education programs while also serving adults seeking to earn a diplomas, improve English-language skills, complete apprenticeships, or obtain industry-recognized credentials. During the day, students will receive career technical training through Upper Valley Career Center. Evening programming will expand access to workforce development and continuing education opportunities for adult learners.
By securing funding for these project across the 12th Senate District, Senator Manchester remains committed to advocating for investments that strengthen communities, supports economic growth, and keeps Ohio a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
