Johnson Issues Statement on Vote to Send Bill Increasing Legislative Oversight to the Governor

COLUMBUS—State Senator Terry Johnson (R-McDermott) released the following statement regarding the Senate's concurrence vote on Senate Bill 22:

"I am certainly pleased that my colleagues in the Senate voted overwhelmingly to concur with the changes made to Senate Bill 22 in the Ohio House of Representatives. There are a lot of passionate feelings from across the spectrum about how exactly to respond to this and future health crises in the state of Ohio. What we have today gives the legislature a seat at the table in critical decision making that is so important to all citizens of our state."
