Schaffer Announces Controlling Board Funds for Improvements Across 20th Senate District

COLUMBUS - State Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) today announced the state's Controlling Board approval of over $4.5 million for renovations and upgrades across the 20th Senate District.

"Investing in our infrastructure is critical to maintaining the quality of life for the residents of the 20th Senate District," Schaffer said. "These funds will greatly improve our state parks and roadways, making the district a better place to live and visit."

The funds approved include $1.6 million for renovations and upgrades to the Senecaville State Fish Hatchery and over $2 million for improvements to Blue Rock State Forest, Maumee State Forest, Shawnee State Forest and the Ohio Mine Safety Training Center. Additionally, $700,000 will be appropriated for public roadwork improvements to State Route 188 as part of the Table Mountain Industries project in Lancaster.
