Schaffer Applauds Alleguard Expansion in Lancaster
COLUMBUS - State Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) applauded the announcement this week that Alleguard, formerly Fabricated Packaging Materials Inc., would be launching a $900,000 expansion to their Lancaster location.
The expansion will add 85 new jobs over the next several years in machine operators, clerical positions, supervisors, and managers. Allegaurd was awarded a $175,000 JobsOhio Economic Development Grant for this project.
"Alleguard could not have selected a better place in Ohio to expand their manufacturing and logistics capabilities," Schaffer said. "The people of Lancaster continue to make their city a hub for businesses expanding in the Midwest."
The investment builds on Alleguard’s capacity in the engineering, delivery, and service of protective foam packaging, EPS Foam components, insulation and other construction materials, plus cold chain solutions. Alleguard says its expansion in Lancaster will bring the latest technology to ensure their products are on the cutting edge of support for its clients in construction and other industries.
