COLUMBUS—State Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) held a perfect attendance record for the year of 2020. This means that he did not miss any votes, Senate sessions, committee hearings, or meetings throughout the year.

“This is something that I take a lot of pride in,” Schaffer said on his perfect attendance. “It is absolutely crucial that I follow my constitutional obligation to the people of the 20th Ohio Senate district to be present for votes and hearings that will impact their everyday lives. I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to represent them in the years to come and maintain a perfect attendance record.”

Senator Schaffer will be sworn in on January 4th, 2021 as a member of the 134th General Assembly. He has served as a member of both the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate holding chairmanship positions of key committees in both chambers.
