Senator Schaffer Announces Funds for Zane State College Projects

COLUMBUS—State Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) announced Monday that the State Controlling Board has released $274,890.76 in funds for various projects at Zane State College in Zanesville.
“Zane State College is continuing to invest in their campus to maintain a quality learning environment for its students,” said Schaffer. “These projects expand on an already fantastic educational opportunity for this region.”
The released funds will go toward the purchase of hydraulic pneumatic training equipment for workforce training and development as well as information technology infrastructure for distance learning. The remaining funds will go toward the Health Science Hall Roof Replacement and other campus renovations and improvements.
Funding for these projects was secured in the State of Ohio capital budget that was approved in March of 2018.
