Cutrona Announces Funds to Improve Access to Healthcare

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) announced the state's Controlling Board approved $110,000 for Mercy Health. These funds will be used to improve access to oral health care for Ohio's underserved populations

"Ensuring that residents of the 33rd Senate District have access to healthcare and dental care is extremely important to me," said Cutrona. "I look forward to seeing the impact of these funds and how they transform the lives of those in the community." 

Mercy Health will develop a continuing medical education program and an enhanced referral network so patients can visit a local dentist's office rather than visiting the emergency room for a non-traumatic dental condition.
