Cutrona Appointed to Correctional Institution Inspection Committee

COLUMBUS—Senate President Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) selected State Senator Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) to serve on the Correctional Institution Inspection Committee (CIIC). 

"I look forward to serving on this important committee and touring our correctional facilities across the state," said Cutrona. "As legislators, evaluating and inspecting these facilities and their programs is crucial. With the state operating budget on the horizon, we must take a good look at these spaces and what resources they could use." 

The CIIC is a bipartisan, joint-legislative committee that provides external oversight of Ohio's adult and juvenile correctional facilities. You can learn more about this committee here.
