Cutrona Introduces "Make America Healthy Again" Legislation

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) introduced legislation to authorize a personal income tax deduction for gym memberships and personal training. 

"It is essential that we encourage Ohioans to prioritize their health and well-being," said Cutrona. "This legislation will reward those who invest in their fitness and create a healthier future for themselves and our communities." 

This bill would allow a $1,500 deduction per year for fitness center memberships or personal training.
