Ohio state agencies, as well as maternal healthcare providers, and fatherhood organizations from across the state will discuss Black maternal health in Ohio. Today, state Senators Catherine D. Ingram (D-Cincinnati) and Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) gave sponsor testimony for Senate Bill 75, which would increase the penalty for failure to report a lost or stolen firearm from a fourth-degree to a first-degree misdemeanor.

Ingram (D-Cincinnati) issued the following statement after the Ohio Senate voted to accept conference committee changes to Senate Bill 56, which significantly changes the state's adult-use cannabis program and directly undermines the will of Ohio voters, who established Ohio's recreational marijuana industry by passing State Issue 2 in 2023.
