Ingram Commends Funding for Major Cincinnati Bridge Project
Today, state Senator Catherine D. Ingram (D-Cincinnati) announced over $9 million in state funding for repairs to the Hopple Street bridge in the City of Cincinnati.
“As a state, it is important that we support our local governments in their ability to improve the quality of infrastructure in our communities,” said Ingram. “The rehabilitation of the Hopple Street bridge will help ensure safer travels for the many people who utilize this route.”
This week, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Governor Mike DeWine announced that the City of Cincinnati has been awarded $9,040,000 for FY2027 through the Local Major Bridge Program to rehabilitate the Hopple Street bridge. The repairs will include replacing the expansion joints and concrete deck and repairing the piers over existing rail lines.
