Cirino Secures Funding for Key Projects

Senate To Vote on $3.5 Billion Investment in Ohio's Communities

COLUMBUS - State Senator Jerry C. Cirino (R-Kirtland) announced today he has secured funding for numerous key projects in the 18th District. Cirino obtained $6,270,000 in funding for 17 projects in Lake County, five projects in Portage County, and three projects in Geauga County.

"I am especially pleased we were able fund important projects helping children and creating jobs," said Cirino. "These are the kind of investments that will greatly help enhance the quality of life in the 18th District right now and for generations to come."

Cirino said that was especially true of these projects:
  • $750,000 for UH Perrico Health Center Rainbow Babies
  • $500,000 for Alliance Working Together NE Ohio Transformation Center
  • $350,000 for Public Safety Training Grounds for Auburn Career Center
  • $300,000 for Willoughby / Chagrin River Trail
  • $50,000 for Concord Township Park Restroom Facility Project
  • $625,000 for Ravenna / Salmon Carter House

The Capital Budget will go to the Governor's desk for signing once it is approved by the House and Senate today.
