Senate to Host Public University Trustee Symposium
COLUMBUS - Senator Jerry C. Cirino (R-Kirtland), Chair of Workforce and Higher Education, has invited all current members of the Boards of Trustees of Ohio's 14 public universities to attend a symposium on a variety of topics relevant to higher education governance.
"This symposium, which I believe is the first ever of its kind in Ohio, will be a great opportunity for the trustees of our critical institutions of higher education to spend time with the Senate and to hear from respected speakers," said Cirino.
The symposium will feature nationally recognized speakers delivering presentations on policy formulation, future strategies, and current challenges. There will also be a round table discussion among trustees.

- Where: The Ohio Statehouse Atrium

The symposium will be streamed on the Ohio Channel.
A media availability will be held after the program has concluded for credentialed members of the press.
